Life is meditation Jon Kabat-Zinn, the founder secular Mindfulness always says. To live each moment with presence and awareness, allowing the experience too unfold for what it is without judgement.
Our programmes are backed by scientific research and value based which means with time and practice people begin to cultivate joy, gratitude, compassion, equanimity and wisdom which in turn makes them feel more connected to others and their environment. Dr. Madan Kataria, founder of the Laughter Yoga movement mantra is When you Laugh you change, when you change the whole world changes.
Christine Weltzien currently lives in the Algarve, Portugal with her family. She was born and raised in India; after university she moved to Hong Kong where she worked as front-line staff for an international airline for over a decade and then went on to teaching Geography in a secondary school for 5 years. It was here in Hong Kong where her journey on the path to Health and Wellness started.
In 2013, during the most challenging time in her life she started to dig deeper into her own purpose in Life. They say when the student is ready, the teacher will appear and that is exactly what happened. Fast forward, today, with practice, patience and perseverance, she has been able to reap the benefits of these holistic practises to live a more balanced and fulfilled Life for which she is truly grateful for. And it is now her Life’s mission and purpose to share this wisdom and joy with people who are in need of it.
She has been a Meditation and Mindfulness practitioner for over 8 years now.

At Joy of Mindfulness we offer online mindfulness courses and face to face mindfulness in the Algarve, Portugal. We all have the inbuilt ability to practice mindfulness, the challenge of becoming more mindful is learning to access that ability
Laughter Yoga movement originated in India in 1995 and was founded by Doctor Madan Kataria. We prefer practicing in groups, either online or in person Laughter Yoga in the Algarve, Portugal.
Laughter Yoga is a combination of deep breathing exercises from yoga and laughter exercises, which oxygenates our body and brain improving our overall well-being.
We offer Mindfulness courses which provide personalised mindfulness training in a structured and supportive environment. We also offer provide MBCT Courses in the Algarve and online. We also provide in person and online laughter yoga classes
